Engineering IRL is an ecosystem for engineers to learn and self develop, where they can feedback their own stories and own career progress against the benchmark of the community.

We spotlight and provide a platform for the engineers who do the every day engineering to tell their story so that future engineers can learn or gain inspiration for the profession.

To be the place engineers go to share their stories, improve in their profession and be inspired about engineering.

To provide engineers a practical platform and framework for career development, driven by the data, information and stories of everyday engineers.

1. Engineers career improvement is typically confined to what their company sets out to be the career progression parameters, if any. This limits the career growth, earning potential and options of engineers.
Engineering IRL provides you with the Information, guidelines/framework, data and tools for career growth in engineering.
2. What do people think it is to "engineer" something. The act of engineering itself is not well defined and therefore acts such as inspiring future generations becomes a challenge.
Engineering IRL provides a medium for every day engineers to share their stories and their work and from this the act of engineering could emerge.
